After spending many years in the customer service field, I decided I needed to make a career change. After much research and a chance encounter on a TTC Subway, I decided on Massage Therapy. I enrolled at Sutherland-Chan School and Teaching Clinic in 2005. Part way through my two years at school, I realized that I wanted to eventually focus my practice on Women’s Health. With this in mind, I elected to take the Breast Massage and the Chronic Pelvic Pain clinics at the school. It was during my time in these clinics that I realized just how important and effective this type of work can be, but also how little was known about it outside the massage therapy community. More recently, I have added Lymphatic Drainage to my focus due to the high incidence rate with cancer treatment.
